We created an inventory system with bar code labels.
Can you create a form in Access and use pen based scanners?
Where can I look to learn how to incorporate the scanning
into the application? We want to be able to check
equipment in and out with using the bar code labels and
the access database

Hi,
Just use the bar code reader that hooks up to the keyboard.
It will enter the bar code number into the text box that has the focus.

Hi Sue,
There are many ways to integrate barcode scanning into an
application. However, do you simply want to scan the
label and have it somehow populate the form? If so, you
will need a communication control that allows you to
receive the barcode scan from the com port in order to
interact w/ the application.
