Version: Word 2003 on XP Pro (sp2)
Problem: I have a Protected Form with text form fields. A user copies a
paragraph or more of text from a filled out text form field and pastes the
text into a blank text form field, in a second document. Once the text is
into the field, the formatting on the last paragraph changes and a random
font is applied.
Observations of the error: When the text is pasted into the blank text form
field, the font changed to Courier and indented the last paragraph. Courier
had never been used in the form. Arial is the default and only font used.
I created two simple forms to try and isolate the error. I created one text
form field, locked it, and filled in text. I copied the text and pasted it
into the second form.
This time the formatting changed to MS Mincho and indented the last
paragraph.
I need to get the text to paste from one docuement that has fillable,
protected text form fields to another document that has the same settings.
(Yes, I also realize that I should have used Infopath or a webapp, but I
opened my big mouth in front of my friends boss.)--
