Forms don't stay maximized

I am having a problem navigating from one form to another
and back again. I start at a switchboard that opens a
summary form of open jobs. From there I can select a job
and open a form that provides details of the job. From the
details form I can open yet another form that shows
details of subcontractors working on that job. Everything
works fine so far. I never close any of the forms behind
me during this process. When I close the subcontractor form
I am at the Job detail form as expected. Now I close the
job detail form and I should have the summary form open
but it is not. I just end up at the list of tables in the
database. The taskbar shows tabs for both the summary
board and the switchboard but I have to right click and
select maximize to get them to reopen. Any help would be
greatly appreciated.

Try
DoCmd.Maximize

on the form activate

Thanks, that worked. I had the maximize command on the
open event.
