Forms in Word

Version: 2008
Operating System: Mac OS X 10.4 (Tiger)
Processor: intel

I used to be able to create a form in Word which could be filled out "on-line" and could not be changed by the person filling it out. It had input fields where they were needed. I cannot seem to find any help about it. It was in Word 6 a long time ago so there is probably a better way now.

You can still do it now, exactly the same way as you did it then.

But DON'T :)

There is a bug in Mac Word 2008 that will prevent it from working. Until
they fix that, on Mac Word, users will be unable to fill in *anything*.

Diane Chapman has a series of tutorials linked from here:
http://word.mvps.org/Tutorials/FreeToAccess.htm

But you will need to wait for them to fix the bug before you can add
protected sections to your document.

Hope this helps
