forms message

I have a form with a sub form on it and have them linked
by a column ID field common to both. I get an error when
trying to insert a record that states the following:

'The Microsoft Jet engin stopped the process because you
and anoth user are attempting to change the same data at
the same time.' I click OK and i"m stuck with not being
able to change the data.

Any idea's?

This could be caused by a permission issue or there is an instance of that
form already running within the database.

I've linked the tables using the SQL sa password and
still get the error, If I import the table it I'm able
to update properly. Any other Ideas on fixing this
problem? Minding that this needs to be on a SQL Server
environment.
