forms that dont require an update

Hello
I have a form that was created in Infopath and it needs to be posted on our
internal Sharepoint site for Managers to use as a template.
The trouble I am having is I only want this form to be a template for
managers to quickly populate, print and be done. But Infopath makes the user
(manager) save the form which causes it to update in the xml data. I want a
standalone template that only gets updated by the original creator of the
form. Is there a way to do this?
I really appreciate any advice or assistance

Hello,
InfoPath is meant for those online, fill-in forms for either print or fill
in for server-fetch. the draging of a controls onto the form suggest
undestanding the fields in order to separate the data from the presentation
content. Automating the popululation of a form could mean the text fields,
controls, or the data fill-in areas. Try MSDN to see how a resable templtate
could be created using InfoPath and not Word. or try making a template out of
Word 2007 using content controls. Word 2007 is ActiveX technology, as is
IExplorer. Word document can open in IE and use the controls by the control
button and left mouse click. You have a superior idea.
