Forms to a Double Opt-in

I have a newsletter. In order to sign up, a visitor must input their email
address into a frontpage form. However, my hosting company requires a double
opt-in signup system. The hosting company offers a double opt-in mail system
that generates the confirmation email. I am being told by the hosting
company that Frontpage doesn't send registered email address in a way so
their double opt-in system can send a confirmation email. I can either hire
them to write me a script or I can go to hotscripts.com and buy one (or take
a free on that advertises the programer), then I have to customize it (with
no HTML experience).

Anyone out there able to help or point me in a better direction?

They have basically told you what you need to do. Not knowing what your
server supports there is a JMail solution:

This would be if you are on a Windows server and your hosting company
supports the JMail ASP component.
