Forms with generated case ID numbers

I am a Beta Tester, and I am looking for instructions on how to create a
form. The form I want to create would track any technical issues and bugs.
I'm looking to generate case ID's for each request, and then have a button
which would then E-Mail the form to a selected E-Mail address. I have created
forms in both Word 2007, and InfoPath 2007, and am not sure which program
would be easier to create the form in.
