New question..
I've created a form at work (they run office 2000) and used the forms
toolbar to create fields, drop down boxes and check boxes. The form has more
information that is sometimes needed. My director needs to be able to remove
sections of the template if they're not needed. However, if locks the
document, and starts inputting information into the fields, everything is
lost when he unlocks the document to edit and relocks to continue the rest of
the form. Apparently Word 2002 doesn't have this problem. I've looked every
where I can think of on the net for a solution and the only thing I could
come up with was a site that offered a code that can apparently be used as an
"add-in". the way I understand it is that the add-in can overwrite microsoft
word's instruction to reset a form once it has been unlocked and relocked.
However, I can't figure out how to add the "add-in".
If anyone has a better solution or knows how or where I could input the code
I'm open to suggestions.
Thanks.
