Forms

I have a FORM that will not open when clicked on. It will not open in design
view or gives me a error message. It is like it doesn't exist. I have deleted
and created new FORMS using the same info in the TABLE, but a few days later
it happens again. This is becoming very frustrating. Any suggestions?

If you are making the repairs to he same database file, it sounds like a
corruption issue to me. At times like this, nothing beats a good backup. In
fact make a complete backup of your database now and put it away for safe
keeping.

Tony Toews has an excellent web page on database corruption.
http://www.granite.ab.ca/access/corruptmdbs.htm

Allen Brown also has excellent info on corruption.

I have a white paper in a Word document named Fix Corrupt Access Database
towards the bottom this page:
http://www.rogersaccesslibrary.com/OtherLibraries.asp

You could try creating a new database file and importing everything from the
old into it. If certain forms, reports, or queries won't import, then they
are likely corrupt.

I exported the database to another one and will wait and see what happens.
Thank you for your quick response.

if you get corruption, it's because you should be using SQL Server
