Formula bar "floats"

In V.2004, the formula bar was (could be) anchored with the rest of the toolbars at the top of the sheet. In V2008, the formula bar "floats". I cannot figure out how to anchor it with the rest of the toolbars.
Does anybody know how to do this? Can it be done?
Thanks

The formula bar can be docked at the top of the window (use the toolbar
handle), just like any other toolbar (except the Standard) toolbar.

It can't be docked within the workbook window.

Hi JE:
I followed a couple of other threads, played around creating a new custom toolbar, and came to the same conclusion. "It is what it is". I guess I just have to get used to it.
Thanks for the reply

I can't get the formula bar to dock in spite of your instructions. What am
I doing wrong?

Thanks.

No idea. When you get the toolbar close to (within a few pixels of) the
edge of the screen (for left, right and bottom) or just under the menu
bar, it should just "pop" into place.

Again, the formula bar will not dock to, or within, the workbook
window(s).
