Hi-

I have been having trouble with my formula bar. I have gone to "view" and selected the "formatting pallet" and "formula bar" options, but still it does not appear. What else do I need to do to make it show up?

Hello,

Try holding down the Shift key while starting Excel.
This will temporarily disable your preferences and
display everything in the default manner.

Have a look at the MacForums post below - someone
here also answered this common question.

If the above fix did work, you may need to delete and
rebuild your Excel user preferences by quitting
Excel, deleting the following file, and then
restarting Excel.

[your user name]:Library:preferences:Microsoft:Office 2008:Excel Toolbars
