Formula Bar stuck partially offscreen

Operating System: Mac OS X 10.5 (Leopard)
Processor: Intel

Similar to an earlier posting, my formula bar in Mac Excel 2008 is STUCK on the left side of the
window. I can see part of the name box but not all and cannot move it anywhere.
I've changed the screen sizes, restarted Excel, and the computer.
Nothing works. I've turn off the formula bar lots of times.. when it comes back it is still partly off the screen.

I see someone else had this issue earlier in July08 but no answer was posted. I would appreciate assistance in resolving my problem

have same issues. it seems to be conneted to my using two monitors, the laptop one and a 30inch. when i have both monitors on, i can grab it on the left monitor and put it back in place but when i have only the laptop monitor the left edge is gone. never found a fix for that.
