Formula Bar

I am using excel 2008. I understand that the formula bar would float and
cannot be docked. But in my case it is 'somewhat' docked - it overlaps the
formatting toolbar if i choose o view the formula bar and i cannot move it
from there. What i have noticed that all the floating bars can be moved by
dragging the extreme left side of the bar (where the 'red' dots is placed).
The red dot is not visible on the formula bar of my mac.

Please advice. Thanks
