Formula box decreases upon performing copy

I visio I write many formula using:
Insert/Object/ Microsfot 3.0
I select all objects in the visio sheet, including other objects (select
all) to paste them into ppt.
However upon performing copy, some formulas (not all) decrease and become
invisible.
For some formulas which I chose size 18 from size box, they do not decrease
(although this size change has no visual effect). This procedure doesn’t work
for other small box formulas.

How can I solve this issue?
Vision version: 2003 SP2

Do you get better results if you paste the Visio objects as an Enhanced
Metafile? Use Paste Special in PowerPoint to choose this option.

Dear Mark
Thanks for your suggestion.
But my problem arises upon hiting ctrl+C inside Visio for "Copying", before
going to PPT. I should add that this problem arises sometimes not always.
May I ask what is the Metafile? Where can I get some info on this?

Are the sizes of the objects you inserted into Visio changing? I have not
seen such behavior.
