Formula Calculation after adjusting Named Range closes down Excel

Hi,

I have hundreds of formulas looking at a Named Range. The formula all work as they should. When I insert a row in the middle of the name range to add something, Excel recalculates then closes down completly. I am using 2002. If I turn off calculation, the add the row, then turn it back on, it will once again shut off Excel. Any advice would be helpful.

Thanks, Adam

Regards,

Sounds like your file contains a corruption.

Try saving the file as filetype HTML (WebPage). Then close
the file, open the HTML file and save-as normal excel
workbook.

Are all your sheetnames legal: not containing characters
like "[" or "]" or other strange ones? They may cause
serious trouble with defined names under certain
circumstances.
