Formula calculation in PWA

Hi,

I have a custom field that is calculated from 2 other custom fields using a
formula, e.g.

[Budget Variance] = [Last Approved Project Budget] - [Est. Spend at
Completion]

If the PM updates the [Est. Spend at Completion] custom field in PWA, the
[Budget Variance] does not get recalculated until someone opens and
republishes the project in Project Professional. Is there any way to perform
a formula calcuation on the server?

Not that I am aware of. All recalculation of a schedule, even after updating
time sheet hours, requires the project to be opened in Proj Prof.
