Formula Completion Feature

A useful enhancement for Excel would be a formula completion feature like the
one in Delphi. You just type an equal sign, and a list of valid labels, names
and functions pops up below the cell. There should be different colors for
the text telling what the word on that line is, i.e., label, name or function.

As you type, all the entries not matching the text you have typed should
disappear. One could move up and down the list by the up and down arrow keys.
To accept an entry one could just type a comma (if you have completed a
function argument), Enter (if choosing a label, name or function) or the next
operator (if choosing a label or name or if you have closed a parenthesis).

To avoid that the list gets in the way if you want to use the cells behind
it as arguments, there could be a hotkey and a mouse option to toggle the
position between above and below the cell.

When you choose a function, both the opening and closing parentheses should
be inserted.

The parenthesis matching in Excel causes the cursor to disappear for a
moment. This is annoying to me, and I suggest that Excel could perform
parenthesis matching like Delphi, where the backgrounds of the matching
parentheses are set to cyan when the cursor is just to the left of one of
them.

I have created a few pictures to illustrate my idea. They can be found at
