I have a series of workbooks (three in all) two of which are linked to the third.
The two workbooks that provide links to the third show up errors when I run a compatibility check. In each case, I'm advised there are links to closed workbooks. However, no links are present when checking the Edit>Links menu, and a search for "[" within the formulas within each workbook yields no results.
The third file, which links to the other two, also contains error messages about links to closed workbooks. However, checking those links finds only the two files I'm expecting and no missing links.
I'm not sure if this is a trivial error or not. I do find these three files very slow to open and recalculation takes a very long time, and I wonder if there is a connexion between these phantom links and the time to calculate.
Many thanks,
Craig
