Formula error in Excel

Working in a spreadsheet - format cells to "Currency". Also using IF..THEN
scenarios

in adding several numeric fields - the function analysis is converting the
numeric answer field into scientific? All added fields are strictly input -
no imbedded calculations. Why am I changing?

What is the resultant length of the sum?
I've found that any value >= 11 digits will (annoyingly) display in a scientific notation.
