formula for arriving net difference

dear all

i have created a worksheet with many columns. column c contains about 50 rows.
to sum the value i used the formula =sum(c1.c500). similary in colum f i summed
up f4.f50),

i want to find out the difference, if the column c total is greater than column f,
how to make a formula to arrive at the difference automatically.

your help is appreciated.
