Here's the problem:
I have a database of a stadium's seating purchases. The
database does not have each seat as a unique number in a
column. What I have is 5 columns: Sec, Row and "First
seat" and "Last seat" and "Number of seats purchased".
What I'm looking to do is "Concantinate" those 5 fields
into a "seat number" field. SEC. and ROW is easy but how
can I have excel look at the "Number of Seats" field,
grab that number, and insert rows underneath based on
that number?
So If someone bought 6 seats, I have a field showing "1"
and "6", I need excel to add 5 rows below this entry, and
I can have the cell generate the seat number
automatically by the range of cells 1-6.
Is this possible? if so, any suggestions?
