Formula - IF...then?

C

Catherine

Would you please help on the below example: -

Pls refer to attached example:
I need to put the drop down menu on cell B1 (done) - with the lookup info on
the lookup tab
Then, when selecting the corresponding month in cell B1, the data for the
corresponding supplier (cell A4: A9) should be displayed.
I try to write up a formula (if & vlookup), but it seems that there's a
limitation (upto 7 nesting formula)?

I could forward the sample spreadsheet if necesary...
thanks

Catherine

Catherine,
Pls refer to attached example:

There was no attached file, at least in the Newsgroups, which is quite
fortunate because attachments are frowned upon in the NG's.

Try explaining your problem in words and perhaps someone will post an answer
for you. The experts in the NG's say that it is almost never really
necessary to post attachments.

sounds like you need to use a data validation list or a combo box(forms or
control toolbar)
