We have just upgraded from Office XP Professional to Office 2003
Professional, and all or a sudden we have a couple of formulas within forms
in an Access Database that no longer work. The following formula is one of
the problem ones:
=[Amount]-[Forms]![Receipts]![Payments Subform]![Total payments]
The answer to this equation always comes out as equivalent to [Amount] (ie.
The second part of the formula has no effect)
I tested by changing the formula to "=[Forms]![Receipts]![Payments
Subform]![Total payments]" and the cell just comes out blank.
Clearly it's not able to recognise the value from the subform. This was
never an issue in Access XP - and in fact when I log into a different server
still running Office XP it's working fine.
Doe anyone know of this problem? and if so, how to fix it?
