Formula not showing result

J

Joe Gieder

Why would a formula show the formula instead of the
result. I've tried =B4-B5 and see =B4-B5, I've tried
=COUNTA('Priced BOM'!$A$3:$A$301)-COUNTBLANK('Priced BOM'!
K3:K301)-18 and get the formula. What can I be doing
wrong.
Please help

Thanks
Joe

Hi Joe,

Probably the cell was formatted as text before you entered the formula.
Format as General and re-enter the formula (F2, ENTER)
