formula reference cells in color

I am not sure why it doesn't do it now (Excel must have decided on
it's own to turn it off!!!!).

If I have a formula existing in a cell, I move to the cell and press
F2, the formula cell references should show in color with the
referenced cells being in the same color.

Why isn't it working?

Thanks so much,

F2 in Mac XL doesn't enter Edit Mode, unless you do something like this:

The MacXL keyboard shortcut is CTRL-u.
