Formula showing the wrong result in Excel 97

N

Natasha

Hello,

I have a conditional sum formula that is not showing the
result listed in the formula box. It is designed to find
every instance of a particular phrase in column A and then
sum the corresponding cells in column F. In the formula
box it displays the correct result. However, in the cell
it displays the sum of everything in column F. I based it
on another formula I created that did work. Also if I try
to use the conditional sum wizard it won't allow me to
select any ranges to find the result in other than column
F, so I can't use the Wizard to do this.

Any help would be appreciated.

Cheers, Natasha.
