Formula View

In Windows Excel, when you are viewing formulas instead of values, it
highlights the cells referenced in the formula. I thought I remembered the
same functionality in the Mac X version, but it's not working. It shows the
formulas, but the selected cell doesn't highlight the referenced ones. Also,
I'm only aware of activating this view by command + ~. Is there a way via the
menus? Maybe there's a setting somewhere I need to change.
Thanks.

BTW, I have show all selected in the view preferences. I know I can do this
manually with the auditing toolbar, but I thought there was a more
automatic way.
Thanks,
Ben

Whoops. I meant control + ~.

I also know you can swith the view preferences. Again, I'm looking for an
easier way, as in the Windows version.

Thanks.

Thanks, but the shortcut was acutally the piece of information I was already
familiar with.

Click in the formula displayed in the formula bar and the referenced
cells will be highlighted. This works in both formula view and in
normal view.
