Formular on activation bold?

Hi,
I have a question:
I work on Excel 2008 (12.1.9 german) and there is something that is causing
me some headache. I have quite some cells with formulas in it. When I click
on one of it (the fx-field) then some part of the formular or the whole of
it turns bold, changing the position I clicked to. Is there a way to get rid
of this?
I do understand, that for a beginner, this might be helpful to figure out
who his formulars are structured, but here it is rather inconvenient, when
you start editing on the wrong position in a rather long one...

Eventually I gonna need a professional excel-version; really unhappy with
the dummy-tools that make life harder!

cheers,
patrick

Patrick, unfortunately, this happens in the US version also. It has been
reported as a bug. Hopefully it will be fixed soon.

I can't say for certain as I haven't tested in any particularly long
expressions, but this appears to be vastly improved by the 12.2.0 update.

Yes, this appears to have been fixed in SP2.
