Formulas in hyperlinks

In my old version of Excel (1997?), I was able to insert a
hyperlink in an Excel cell that would reference a
formula.

For example, I had a named range called PRICELIST which
referred to cells A1:A1000 on one sheet. On a separate
sheet in cell C5, I had a box that referred to one of the
prices in that named range, depedning on the product
number (in cell B5) which is dependent on another
selection. You could click on that cell (C5) and it would
take you to the exact cell in PRICELIST that was being
referenced.

To do this, I went to Insert->Hyperlink, and put in the
formula =index(PRICELIST,B5)

Now, for my question... In Excel XP, I cannot figure out a
way to include a formula in the hyperlink reference. It
only lets you include a cell reference or named range. I
don't want to have to name 1000 cells.

Is there a way to include formulas in hyperlinks in XP, or
a way to hyperlink to an indirect reference? Any help
appreciated
