formulas with a drop down menu

I would like to do a drop down menu but do a formula with
it.. I have a few of the same items but at different
prices, I would like to be able have the drop down menu to
chosen the price but I would also like to do a sum formula
with that chosen drop down.

If that is not a possibility what can I do to have a list
versus all the prices colors and sizes and be able to work
with it in formulas??

Not sure this is what you want, but:
Use Data Validation to get the price you want:
Select the cells to put the drop down list into,
Data, Validation,
Select 'List'
enter the prices, separating prices with a comma

Then Sum the drop down cells.
