Formulas with links?

Hello,
is there any chance to use a link inside a formula?

I'm building a Gant view where each activity must have, grayed out bellow
the traditional "blue Gantt bar" on row 2 a bar with a specific Start1 and
Finish1. The thing is that I need this Start1 and Finish2 to be the
traditional Start and Finish of ANOTHER task.

I'm pretty at ease on using formulas using information within the same task,
but never had to go and "pick up" information in other tasks.

Any idea how to do this or am I gonna have to manually link them?

Thanks

No, formulas refer only to individual task and project level information
(summaries of course can roll up or average the values below) but have no
possibility to link tasks.

You will have to resort to writing some VBA code to do this.

Thank you Jack!

That means that using formulas there is no way to go and pick up information
from other tasks, right?

VBA might be an option, do you agree?

Thanks

Yes, none of the functions or fields relate to other regular tasks (a limited
set of Project level data is available).

You will have to use VBA to get information about other tasks.
