I need to know if it is possible to write a formula that
will convert a number (186) into writen format
(Onehundredeightysix). If anyone can help me with this it
would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks

I once wrote a Quatro Pro spreadsheet to do this (quite
neatly! It was quite a chunk of macro to acheive the
following...

186 coverted to "One Hundred and Eighty Six"

It converted anything upto 99 Million and worked for
foreign currencies (I was working on a Foreign Cheque
Printer)

As it was at least 12 years ago <hence Quatro Pro!> I am
not sure I still have it around

Let me know if you got any other responses I am would love
to know if there was a commercial need for such a product

Thanks
Simon
