Forvard engineering Visio 2003-2002

Sam

Hi everybody,
I created a database diagram with Visio 2003, is there any way to convert it
to
a SQL script and run it in database to create the objects,
I have Visual studio 2003 installed with Visio for Enterprise Architected
2003,
I know that is Visio 2002 really, so I tried to save my Visio 2003 files in
2002 format(actually in any format possible) when I try to read my Visio
files,
with Visual Studio it either brings Visio 2003 to show it or bring a small
page that
show my diagram partially and doesn't let me to do anything, is there any
option like
generate or export that I'm missing?

How Forward Engineering works in Visual Studio 2003 when I already have a
Visio database diagram? (My database would be Oracle but that's OK if you
have a solution for SQL server)

Thanks you in advance - Sam

I suspect that since the diagram was created in 2003 Pro, you will still
have problems getting forward engineering to work within 2002 Enterprise.

However, if you install the utility on my website (free, URL below), you can
export the model as XML and then apply the stylesheet on the add-ons page to
render the XML as SQL DDL.

Hope that helps,
Scot.
