Forwarded e-mail indicator

My Outlook formerly noted (by displaying an "arrow icon") when I had
forwarded an email message to another party, but now, all of a sudden, that
"arrow icon" doesn't appear adjacent to those messages when I forwarded them.

How do I restore that notation in the list of received messages?

What version of Outlook are you using? I remember way back that this issue
would rear its head when a user used a custom message form.

I'm still using Outlook 2003 in a machine running XP Pro Media Center . . .
