forwarded message deleted from inbox

A few weeks ago "replied to" or "forwarded" messages suddenly began being
deleted from the Outlook inbox. The only remaining copy of this messages is
now in the sent box. Where do I tell the program not to delete the original
message from the inbox once it has been forwarded or replied to?

Check your view. Make sure it's not set to Unread MEssages. You can find
this by choosing View, Current View, and seeing what's selected. If you're
using Outlook 2003, the menu structure is View, Arrange By, Current View.
