Afternoon All,
I have a wierd problem that I have tracked down to MAPI. When an offsite
(different domain) sends a forwarded message to "(e-mail address removed)" with an
attachment, our outlook clients connecting via MAPI will strip the
attachments. If we send the same e-mail to the same user, and connect to
their account using IMAP, we can view the attachments. The problem seems to
be with the .eml file extention in the message.
I have tried different clients and they all work fine for checking e-mail.
The only thing that has any type of issue is a forwarded message or a message
with an attachment ending in .eml. We have not installed the "Outlook E-mail
Security Administrator Package" so I don't think that is an issue and I have
checkd all of my level1 blocking, even on OWA and .eml is not listed in
there.
Anyone with some insight into this would be greatly appreciated.
