Forwarded messages stuck in Entourage outbox

Operating System: Mac OS X 10.6 (Snow Leopard)
Processor: Intel
Email Client: pop

I recently upgraded to MS Office 2008. Since doing so I've found that anytime I try to forward an email message it remains stuck in my outbox and is never delivered to the intended party. I am, however, able to send and receive new emails without any problems. Can anyone help??

Is this happening to *any* address you are forwarding the message to or
are you possibly having problems with only one or a few addresses?
