Forwarding and replying to emails

I have found that Outlook does not use the email address which received an
email to reply to or forward it. It selects another one from my several
email addresses and uses that. It ususally uses my main private address. I
know I can set which one to use each time in accounts but I feel that it
should automatically use the address which received the email. Is there
anything I can do to set it to do this again. I'm pretty sure it used to do
this.
