Forwarding Email from Inbox

Recently, my Outlook 2007 started failing upon manually forwarding emails to
other contacts. The email forwards, but does not show sent; instead it
leaves the forwarded message in the outbox. This occurred after a power
flicker that my UPS did not protect. How do I fix this problem and maintain
my data?

With Outlook closed, locate and delete the (usually hidden) file
%AppData%\Microsoft\Outlook\yourprofilename.SRS and see if that changes
anything.

I'm somewhat concerned about deleting a file. Additionally, I can not find
the file. I even did a *.srs search and only found this: C:\Documents and
Settings\Steve S\Application Data\Microsoft\Outlook. Do you think it would
work to just reload the software and overwrite the files without changing the
data files?

A little dumb luck, and I think I have the answer. I found that when I added
pictures to my contacts in groups on an Iphone that caused the problem. I
had to delete the contacts with pictures and add them back in manually and
then sync to the Iphone without pictures. Everything seems to be fine now.
I guess I need to report that to Apple. I wonder if anybody else has
experienced that problem?

There's nothing to be concerned about when deleting that file or I wouldn't
have suggested it.

Then you found the file. That's exactly where I told you it would be.

That's don't help. Reinstalling won't recreate that file.
