Forwarding email to three mailboxes from a general mailbox

I'm trying to setup an automatic mail forwarder that will, when new mail
arrives in a general mailbox, forward it onto one of three internal mailboxes.
Please advise the best approach for this question.

I'd like to add a bit on to this post to try to explain the problem.
We receive emails into a mailbox (General) and currently three people can
access this mailbox (in addition to their own). However, I would like to
setup a process that captures new mail for General mailbox and forwards it to
one of the three mailboxes. This process will establish the last mailbox it
sent the previous mail to and forward the new message onto the next person in
the list. I have worked out a routine for the second part via a text file on
the server that is repeatedly accessed and updated, but I need advice on the
first part.
OR, is there an easier method of doing this using outlook or exchange server?
Please help!!!
