Forwarding or redirecting System Administrator Messages

Hi Folks,
I am trying to create a rule that will forward (or redirect) System
Administrator messages to another mailbox. This is for messages that have
failed etc. It appears as if this isn't possible as the rule just does not
complete. I've extended the rule to move the completed message to a folder
and while the move completes the actual forward does not take place.
Is this actually possible or does someone have another suggestion.
Regards, Kip

On an Exchange server? Why don't you configure Exchange to mail to that
mailbox directly instead of your mailbox?

Hi Roady,
Well it isn't as simple as that.
We have created a "consolidation" mailbox which receives mail fouted
directly from Exchange from a number of other mailboxes. This used to be
handled manually with a group of folks responsible for it. This has now be
altered to route to queues which are picked up and automate the mails into a
logging system. We've had a number of rules on that mailbox (which has all
worked well) sending an autoreply to say your mail has been received, moved
things to sub-folders and deleted or forwarded specific messages. The girls
in question have always managed the messages that failed (address typed wrong
etc) but I'm not able to send the failed System Admin ones on (didnt need to
in the past). Part of the aggravation is that one of the mailboxes routing
to the consolidated one gets utilsed as a from address when sending out mail
to customers so it happens often enough that the wrong a address is used.
Appreciate the post.
Regards, Kip

I have exactly the same issue - rules will not work if the sender is 'System
administrator'. is there a System Key to remove this exception or is it coded
into the Outlook Rules and Alerts system. I've tried a couple of other email
rules programs and they have the same issue. I've tried both Outlook 02 and 07
