Found An Alternative Solution

Based on the information discovered in the previous post, I did some digging around on the HP website.

It was hard to find, but it appears that this was a known problem and a newer version of the HP Wireless Assistant software addresses the problem.

Version 3.50.12.1 can be found at:

Download and install the software and the problem will be gone. You may have to stop the HPWAMain.exe process manually if the install can't do it automatically.
