FP 2000 component hover button applet doesn't work with XP browser

Craig

I built a site using FP 2000 with inserted hover buttons. I published to
www.carliniinc.com/test to verify all links work. I have no problems with 98
or 98se but users and client I ask to look at the site that have XP say the
buttons don't work. the file fphover.class is in the same directory (test) as
the htm files. Applet code looks correct. ANY HELP would be appreciated. I
promised the client this site two weeks ago and I 'm no there yet.

Hover buttons require Java Virtual Machine which can be
downloaded from http://java.sun.com
However, most people have quit using Hover Buttons
because windows XP / IE6 no longer come with JVM installed.

As Tom said, JVM is required. I'm running XP, have it installed, and your
buttons are working properly.

You might want to consider using DHTML instead.

Thanks Tom. At least now I know what to do to get the pages fixed. Thanks for
the quick response.

John you and Tom are the best. Thanks for the response and I will persue the
DHTML approach. Another learning curve but what else can I do.
