I have created a website and have published it live with no problems about 2
years ago. Unfortunately since publishing the live site, I deleted the files
on my computer, without saving a backup (i know, not too smart).
According to my webhost I can edit the html live and make changes to my
files.
My problem is this, the information that I need to change is the cororate
address and fax number. When creating the website, I used the Corporate Web
Presence Wizard which asked for the information and then put it into the
"Contact Area" of the index.htm page.
I have tried editing this information live - however, even though the html
text shows the new address, when I look at the actual page it still shows the
old address.
Does anyone know where the Wizard stores the data so that I can go to that
particular file and edit the information there.
If this does not work, my next question is - can I create a new index.html
page (without the acutal borders and other information) and substitute it for
the old page, thus changing the address but nothing else?
Anythoughts?
Thanks,
Bridget
