FP 2002: Getting "System Exception: access violation" error when accessing my website

I have a FP 2002 software on my work notebook PC (has XP PRO) for several
years, and have been successfully using it to access my website for years.
But since last week, I am getting this "System Exception: access violation"
error every time I try to connect. It also takes a long time, before this
error appears, like about 10 minutes. I suspect that my company's SMS
updates may have screwed something up on my notebook PC, as my other PC
using FP 2002 still accesses this same site correctly, so I know all the
user names and passwords, etc are correct, as are the website's FP setup.

I also tried rte-installing FP2002 on this notebook, but the problem still
persists.

Any ideas to try or security settings to look at on the PC that may have
been affected?

I am still getting this, and still looking for any ideas. The only thing I
would add, is that it sometimes does not have an error message at all, after
it is trying to connect (and by the way, it does always ask me for my
username and pasword), but still is not connecting, not displaying my web
folders.....
