FP 2003 - Failure to forward forms from site

E

Eric

Hello,

XPP SP2, FP2003

On a FP site, with FPSE enabled, with everything working well in general, I've got a few simple forms that return an error when the Submit button is pressed. The error message reads: "Cannot run the FrontPage Server Extensions on this page: http://sitename.com/htm/contact/contact_home.htm.".

Sometime in the past, if I remember correctly, i had the same problem, but also I think that my remedy at the time, was to restore a previous version of the site, after which everything worked fine again. I don't think that there is anything wrong with the host, but rather with my own FP site (as I solved it by restoring a previous version of the site).

Of course, I can, once again restore a slightly older version, but I would, if possible, like to find out what causes this error (what's wrong in my site), so that I can rectify the problem if, and when, it happens again.

Grateful for any suggestions.

Best regards,
