FP 2003 Hotspot Outline

First time using this forum. Hello to all.

My question: How do I get the lines of a hotspot outline to stop appearing
when the hotspot is clicked?

Details: I'm using FrontPage 2003, complete install from CD-ROM, on XP Home
with SP-2. Using the polygonal hotspot tool on the Pictures toolbar, I have
created some irregular-shaped hotspots (links) on several pages of a web I am
creating.

The links work properly, but when I test them in Design View and / or
Preview View, the black line of the hotspot outline appears.

How do I get these lines to stop appearing?

Do they appear when you File | Preview in Browser?
