FP asks to delete extentions (what to do?)

V

Verizon

I have a web site that I have been building and updating. A short time ago I
implements something that required FP Extensions. My web-site host installed
FP extensions for me.
_vti_cnf
_vti_log
_vti_pvt
_vti_script
_vti_txt

Ever since then when I publish my web site to the server it keeps telling me
that these files do not exist on my local directory and do I wish to delete
them from the web server.
Is there a setting to permanently ignore these files, did they put them in
the wrong place? I tried downloading all of them and putting them in my
local web directory but FP does not see them and the problem still happens.

Any thoughts, Thanks...

Open your remotes site and publish it back to your machine to synchronize the files

Thanks Steve, but unfortunately when I try to open the website I get a
message back saying "FrontPage does not support opening files from a ftp
site."
I'm not sure why they have "ftp location" and an option at the bottom of the
browse drop down if it can't be used but there you have it.
By the way I'm using FrontPage 2002

I had always been publishing my page using the publish by ftp option. When
publishing by ftp FrontPage does not recognize the extensions as being
anything but some new files and therefore reports a mismatch.
I switched to publishing by domain and now it recognizes the extension
folders and does not report them as a mismatch.
Phew!
