FP Hosting Services

Uncle Joe

Okay, I finally built up the nerve to open/install my new copy of
FP2003 Upgrade.
FP2002 is presently installed. So, instead of developing a site using
Movable Type,
MySQL, and PHP, I'm committing to FP2003. Still don't know what
database
to use (want high performance and ease of maintenance (particularly a
DB that will
allow me to delete offensive comments, pictures, HTML, and
attachments)).

Am seeking recommendations for a superb hosting service offering the
latest
FP support, with generous file allotments and bandwidth. You folks
have heard
the horror stories about some hosts, I'm sure. Steer me from them,
please.

If you'd rather not comment publicly, send me an email. Thanks.

The database you use has no bearing on whether or not you can edit it. That's up to your
skill as a programmer.
Access works wonderfully well, as does SQL Server.

Unc,

Check out the software they have too. They'll install Snitz forum and a
couple of others too for 50 bucks (they're free forums but they charge for
install if you don't want to hassle with it)....SO...you "may" be able to
use a portal/forum for your blog idea. Save you a ton of trying to write
that stuff yourself. Just a thought.

| Looks like an excellent recommendation. Thanks.
